About Me

Hello, my name is Jeanana Khan! I’m a Dallas based freelance illustrator and graphic designer with a passion to serve those in need. Over the past few years I’ve discovered my role in the arts has been driven by my interests in healthcare and service. I aim to better the world around me through interdisciplinary projects. Moving forward I plan on attending medical school and bringing the creative mindset to healthcare. As creators we all have the power to innovate our respective fields and help uplift others!

Project Description

Zikr is a cognitive therapy activity book made to improve the everyday abilities of patients suffering dementia, Alzheimer’s, and MCI. With reading passages, arithmetic problems, memory activities, coloring pages, and more, Zikr engages elderly patients to improve in memory, communication, and activities of daily living.

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

Give yourself the time and space to find your role in ATEC. You won’t know it right away, but once you find it, be the best person at it.

What will you miss most about UTD after graduation?

I will miss the people I had the opportunity to see every day. I met some of my best friends at UTD and having the chance to spend so many years together was a blessing. Oh, and I’ll definitely miss sipping a cup of Lemma’s coffee every day.
