David Milburn

About Me

My name is David Milburn, but you can call me Dave. I am what most would call a Graphic Designer, but I think of myself as an Inventive Problem Solver, or Creative Solutions Expert. My experience in the military as well as my skills in problem-solving and creative solutions facilitate my passion for package design and company branding. What draws me to package design is the diversity of materials available to use as a canvas. If I’m not busy solving problems I like to spend time with my dogs and beautiful wife, play sports, and work on my table top war-gaming army.

Project Description

This project is a personal passion of mine. I hope to combine several of the courses I’ve taken at UTD to create a package and rules for a bar game. This game as far as I know has very few rules and almost no sales presence since it consists of simple items to make. I hope to change that, and bring this game into a new light.

What’s something that is always on your work desk?

I have a hobby station set up on my work desk to tinker with my modeling hobby when I need a creative outlet, or to help me think when working around complicated challenges.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years I hope to find myself as the lead designer for a small business that is working toward making a big impact in the world.
