About Me

Hello! My name’s Nadira Williams and I’m a graphic and web designer. Part of me loves tedious and methodical work while the other part loves creativity and excitement. This is the reason why I fell in love with design – something that involves the perfect combination of technical skill and innovative mindset. The work I do as a graphic designer allows me to create and experience a wide array of hands-on creative projects; whether it be brand design, print collateral, digital illustration, web design, or coding. Whatever the medium though, my creative expression is defined by bold and vibrant hues, asymmetric shapes, and geometry. Outside of design, I enjoy knitting, making digital art, psychology, and playing games on the Nintendo Switch.

Project Description

A digital guide to help individuals expand their social and comfort zones. Aimed at anxious introverts, the goal of this project is to make building connections a less anxiety inducing experience.

What is one piece of advice you would provide to new ATEC students?

Don’t be afraid to try classes or join organizations that you have no experience with or know little about. You never know when you might discover something that unexpected that you’re passionate about.

What will you miss most about UTD after graduation?

I think I’m going to miss the people the most after graduation. I loved being able to meet and work with different people every semester. With the variety of on-campus activities and organizations, I always a felt a sense of community where anyone could find a place to fit in.
